CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A Lane Tech College Prep senior will have her design emblazoned on the latest Chicago City Markets tote bags, and she won a scholarship too.

For 14 years, Country Financial has sponsored the design competition for the official reusable bag for the Chicago City Markets. Country Financial Representative Cody Barron said the three finalists all win scholarship money.

"For the first time, all of our finalists are from Lane Tech College Prep. Country Financial is honored to support Lane Tech's art department with the donation of $500," he said.

The winner of the $2,000 scholarship is Anna Poprawski, whose sunny design features a crate of vegetables set against the Chicago skyline.

"I actually saw the bag design for the 2017 one I think, the one with the bike on it, and I fell in love with that design so much and I knew that I wanted to be apart of this contest when I saw it," Poprawski said.

First runner up is Alice Waechter, winning $1,000, and second runner up is Valerie Cheng, winning $500.

"What we really loved about these three pieces is that they are all completely different takes in looking at the Chicago City Market," said County Financial Zane Price.

Bags will be available for free at Chicago County Financial offices while supplies last.
