Buffalo, NY (WBEN)- As another collegiate academic year is set to get underway in Western New York, the 2019 freshman class at SUNY Buffalo State moved into campus Wednesday.

Freshman students could be seen along school streets moving belongings to dorms. They join student-athletes as the first on campus with classes beginning next week.

Buffalo State President Kate Conway-Turner was more than excited to welcome in the next wave of students.

"There is a lot of prep that goes into move-in day so we have a few days and then classes start next week,"  Conway-Turner said. "It is sort of like a big holiday with lots of things to do to get ready and it's really exciting."
