Beane has teamed up with United Way to set up a community response fund to the COVID-19 outbreak as he's donating $20,000, but he's also reaching out the to community in a unique way to help provide more funding to frontline responders.

"When you sit here and this is slapping you in the face every day, sometimes you feel helpless, and I found myself like, 'What can you do?" said Beane in an interview with WGR550 on Monday morning.

Aside from the initial donation to the WNY COVID-19 Community Response Fund, Beane is also encouraging Bills Mafia to help donate whatever they're able, and he's including some pretty cool incentives to those who do.

People can donate or sign up to win new sweepstakes by going to www.wnyresponds.org between now and April 17, and seven entrants will be randomly selected to win experiences with the Bills or with Beane himself.

"What could I do beyond just making a donation to get others to jump in?" asked Beane. "With the help of some others...they really helped come up with some good ideas - things that fans wouldn't normally have the opportunity to do."
