Charges filed in North Tonawanda bullying incident

North Tonawanda, NY (WBEN) North Tonawanda Police say four juveniles will be charged in connection with a bullying incident on the grounds of North Tonawanda High School.

Police say the victim's mother reported the July 1st incident that took place on the school's athletic field. Detectives quickly identified all parties that were involved and began setting up interviews with all the juveniles and their parents.

Two juveniles have been officially charged with Assault 3rd and two additional juveniles will be charged in the near future. All four will be issued appearance tickets and scheduled to appear at the probation department. All parents of the individuals involved were also issued a notice of the violation of City Code 70A-3D, Bullying; harassment ordinance.

Police are not releasing their names.
