New York State Logs .78% COVID-19 Positivity Rate

Albany, NY (WBEN) New York Governor, Andrew Cuomo announced Sunday that the state had logged it's lowest positivity rate for COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic back in March.

Cuomo said that of the over 65,812 tests that came back on Saturday, 515 came back positive for a .78% rate of positivity. After giving the numbers during a conference call Sunday, Cuomo praised state residents for keeping the curve flat, "Congratulations New Yorkers, incredible, really an incredible achievement by New Yorkers." There were 528 current hospitalizations reported and seven deaths statewide.
