(WBEN) If you were thinking about heading out and getting some fresh air on this Sunday and heading to Chestnut Ridge Park be aware that the Eternal Flame Trail has now been closed.
Erie county executive Mark Poloncarz making that announcement in a Tweet Saturday night because of two incidents on Saturday.
First responders had to be called out twice to rescue 2 people who had fallen into a ravine.

The Eternal Flame Trail at Chestnut Ridge Park will be closed until further notice after two incidents involving injuries occurred today. Each incident required extraction by first responders from the ravine. Please follow @ErieCountyParks for future trail reopening status.
