Orchard Park, NY (WBEN) - For many Western New York businesses, the questions don't stop when reopening happens.

At Gary's Barber Shop in Orchard Park, Owner Gary Carini is one of many who are waiting to see when his reopening guidelines that restrict him from providing many services he was previously able to, will change.

"I think they should at least be in contact with us so we know what's going on," Carini told WBEN. "We're constantly getting phone calls (asking) 'can you do beard trims yet?'"

Barbershops and hair salons were permitted to open under Phase 2 guidelines, but with Western New York now in Phase 3, there's no indication those guidelines will change.

"We have not been told anything," Carini said.

Now, with the prospect of having less access to free COVID testing, Carini is looking for answers on if Phase 2 guidelines that he be tested every two weeks still applies today.
