BUFFALO, N.Y. (WBEN) - Seven more people have died in Erie County due to coronavirus, bringing the county's death toll to 46 as of Wednesday evening.

There are 1,345 confirmed cases of coronavirus and 345 people have recovered from the disease.

"We haven't reached our peak yet," Poloncarz said. "It's as simple as that."

The peak is still weeks away according to the county executive.

The City of Buffalo is the municipality with the most confirmed cases of COVID-19 at 525. Within the city, the zip code 14215 has the positive cases at 100. Poloncarz stressed though that the zip code data is not reflective of total populations within that zip code.
