(WBEN) - Western New York's favorite daredevil has unveiled his next high-wire stunt.

Nik Wallenda announced on Tuesday that he will walk the wire over the Masaya volcano in Nicaragua live on TV on March 4.

"It is everything that I've ever done times 10," Wallenda told ABC's Good Morning America. "In Niagara Falls I faced the blinding mist of the Falls and the intimidating roar of the Falls. I'm facing sulfuric gasses that are so thick that you can't breathe through them. Part of my training is training with a gas mask... part of my training is training blindfolded because there is a great chance that I won't be able to see."

Wallenda's walk over the volcano will be broadcast on ABC live on Wednesday, March 4 at 8:00PM. No word yet on whether or not he will be wearing a wire during the walk.
