Lower 2021 Rates Coming From Independent Health

Independent Health is announcing rate decreases for 2021 small group and individual products.  Small group rates will drop an average of 2.7%, and the individual direct-pay plans will decrease an average of 5.3%.  Independent Health has been able to lower rates due in large part to collaborative efforts with physicians and hospitals aimed at improving the quality and efficiency of care through evidence-based, best-practice standards.

BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York is extending telehealth coverage at no cost share or co-pay for fully insured Commercial and Medicare Advantage members through December 31st.

WellNow Urgent Care is offering on-campus COVID-19 testing clinics for universities and colleges. Programs will offer molecular (or PCR) testing to students, faculty and school staff by WellNow professionals.  Each program will be custom developed to meet the needs and testing requirements outlined by the school.
