It's been a very hard time to work in the restaurant or food distribution industry lately.   Business First noting that First Source LLC is in the process of closing its Town of Tonawanda warehouse.  That impacts 230 workers.  Other places like Latina Boulevard Foods of Cheektowaga have found a niche in helping equip restaurants like Osteria 166 that don't ordinarily provide take-out service.  Rosina Food Products has seen a rise in its retail business even as its food service line has declined.

Following the lead of other distilleries, Hartman's Distilling Co. of Buffalo has created hand sanitizer at its facility.  It's available starting today.  The company is donating a portion of what they produce to local hospitals and other businesses in need.

The leader of the Erie County Industrial Development Agency for the past seven years is stepping down later this month.  CEO Steve Weathers was appointed to the position in December 2013.

After another significant downturn yesterday, the S&P 500 and Dow Jones futures are up 1.3%.
