FeedMore WNY Benefits From Grant

According to Business First, some local surgeons from multiple practices have joined together to form a new orthopedic clinical management program with Catholic Health.  Called the Catholic Health Orthopedic Management Co., it will have surgeons manage scheduling, best practices and patient safety initiatives within Catholic Health’s orthopedic service line.  This includes joint replacement, foot and ankle surgery, treatment of fractures and dislocations, hand surgery, orthopedic spine surgery, and sports medicine.

Xylem Watermark has partnered with Mulcare and National Fuel to award a grant to FeedMore WNY.  FeedMore WNY will use the grant to assemble and distribute nearly 350 emergency food kits to those in need and 1,500 bags of nutritious food to hungry children served through its BackPack Program.

OLV Human Services has received a grant of $174,840 from the FCC under the CARES Act COVID-19 Telehealth Program.  The money will be used to increase the agency’s telehealth services in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
