Five Star Opening Branches

Full in-person banking services have resumed at nine Five Star Bank locations.  Those locations are in East Aurora, Batavia West, and Allegany in Western New York.  The Bank also noting it never closed its Albion branch or ones in downtown Buffalo and Rochester.

The Maid of the Mist has officially christened its two new vessels - the James V. Glynn and Nikola Tesla.  The boats are expected to be placed into service later this month.

In April, Kenmore Mercy Hospital’s mammography service was accredited by the American College of Radiology.  The hospital notes that its mammography services have resumed.

Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center notes Rodney Haring, Director of the Center for Indigenous Cancer Research, has been named to the COVID-19 Prevention Network Native Expert Panel, formed by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease.

Dr. K. Keely Boyle has joined the Joint Replacement team at UBMD Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine.

The Catholic Diocese of Buffalo has appointed Joan Thomas as Interim School Superintendent.
