Automated Service Coming From Modern Disposal

Modern Disposal Services will begin providing automated waste collection October 1st to Town of Porter residents under a new six-year agreement.  Starting January 1st, Modern will supply the same services to Barker, Cambria, Middleport, Newfane, Pendleton and Somerset.  The company has more than 14,000 commercial customers and 300,000 residential customers.

Canadian fashion retailer Ardene has officially opened its sixth New York location at Walden Galleria on the upper level near Dick’s Sporting Goods.

Niagara University has received a $300,000 federal grant from the U.S. Department of Justice Office on Violence Against Women to strengthen its ongoing efforts to educate about and respond to sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking on campus.
