With only days before the 2020 election, celebrities have begun to lean into their views on who they would like to see lead the United States for the next four years.
Now "The Boss," Bruce Springsteen, has chimed in, once again leaving no doubt as to the side of the aisle on which he stands. During a recent online roundtable with the Australian press, the "Born in the USA" singer admitted if the outcome of the election will bring about another four years of Trump, he would consider moving down under.
"I love Australia," Springsteen told reporters over video chat. "Every time, we have nothing but good times down there. It’s always a treat to come. Love the people, love the geography, great place for motorcycle trips, it’s close to our hearts."
But he's not so sure he'll have to pack his bags in the coming days, admitting that he sees change on the horizon. "If Trump is re-elected, which he will not be - I’m predicting right now he’s gonna lose - if by some happenstance he should be, I’ll see you on the next plane," Springsteen said.
The veteran rocker is currently promoting his new track, "Letter To You," a return to his New Jersey rock roots which is part of a 12 song upcoming album by the same name. The new record also sees Bruce reuniting with his E Street Band members for the first time since 2014.
