Bronx Construction Worker Dies After Being Electrocuted At Building Site

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. (WCBS 880) — Police say a Bronx construction worker was killed Wednesday when he was electrocuted while working at a building site in New Rochelle.

Authorities say 26-year-old Alejandro Manuel Caisaguano Pellisa was working on a building exterior during the afternoon when he accidently hit high-voltage wires while working in a cherry picker.

The 26-year-old was electrocuted and later died.

The New Rochelle Buildings Department and the Occupational Health and Safety Administration are investigating.
