NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- Police are looking for the person who attacked a 71-year-old homeless man at the 42nd Street subway station between 7th and 8th avenues Monday afternoon.
According to police, the suspect got into a verbal dispute with the victim around 3:30 p.m.
The incident escalated and the suspect began to beat him with a belt and buckle, police said.
The suspect then punched and kicked the victim multiple times causing him to fall to the groundThe victim was taken to NYC Health & Hospitals/Bellevue to be treated for cuts to his face and head.
