NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — Disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein struggled to enter a courthouse last week while using a walker, but recently was spotted strolling through New York without any difficulties, according to Page Six.
Weinstein was seen inside a Target in Mount Kisco, just days after his Dec. 11 court hearing, during which he appeared to need support from other people to stand and walk.
A witness who saw the 67-year-old in Target, however, said Weinstein was walking around with his family without any visible sign of support.
The inconsistency has fueled critics, who say the walker is part of an act he is putting on to garner sympathy.
The former film industry executive faced a Jan. 6 trial on rape and sexual assault charges, to which he has pleaded not guilty. He also denies any other non-consensual sex allegations.
