NEW YORK (WCBS 880) – Gov. Andrew Cuomo said New York’s coronavirus numbers “continue to remain low and steady” as the state reported the lowest number of hospitalizations and intensive care patients since the pandemic began in March.
In a press release Saturday, Cuomo said the number of patients in ICUs with the virus had reached its lowest level since March 16—149 patients statewide on Friday.
Hospitalizations also continued their decline, dropping to 646 on Friday, which is the lowest number since March 18.
The state reported 10 new deaths from the virus, bringing the death toll to 25,103.
