It’s the mashup you never knew you needed in your life, but it’s one you won’t be able to live without.
Listen to your favorite Rock music now on RADIO.COM.
Imagine a world where Metallica and Huey Lewis team up and blend their distinct musical styles into one awesome creation. Got it? Great, because thanks to mashup artist Bill McClintock, it’s now a reality.
McClintock’s latest mashup is called “Hip To Be The Sandman” and pairs Metallica’s “Enter Sandman” with Huey Lewis and The News’ “Hip to Be Square.” It’s a heavy metal/upbeat rock fusion that needs to be heard and is accompanied by a fantastic video fusing the two artists together.
It’s not the first viral mashup Metallica has been a part of lately as they recently made headlines when an artist mashed up their track “For Whom The Bell Tolls” with Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You.”
The mashup of the two artists certainly welcomed a different vibe this holiday season and offers the potential for many confused looks at family gatherings in the future.
