Minnesotans are waking up to find thermometers reading below zero for the first time since last winter.

Cold weather will persist through Wednesday, with a round of light snow expected Wednesday night into Thursday. #mnwx #wiwx

The big chill comes after several inches of snow fell in much of Minnesota on Monday morning, leading to a slow commute and dozens of fender-benders.

There is more snow in the immediate forecast, but that's expected to be a few flurries late Wednesday into Thursday morning.
