Between two and four inches of new snow fell in the Twin Cities metro and southeastern part of the state.

Following a day-long dose of rain, sleet, wind, and a flake or two, another storm is expected to dump a few more inches of snow in the region.

When it's all over by Sunday, forecasters say the total accumulation from Thanksgiving week winter storm number two will be between four and seven inches of new snow.

The nasty weather comes just in time for the Gopher football game against Wisconsin, which is expected to be played at TCF Bank Stadium in windy and wet conditions.
