It is going to be a big night in the Red Sox broadcast booth.

For starters, the Red Sox are taking on the defending World Series champion Astros. It will be a battle of two titans in a top-heavy American League.

On top of that, Roger Clemens will join Tim Neverett and Dale Arnold in the WEEI booth for the call. Clemens has sporadically been part of the Red Sox booth over the last few years, but will add his color for all nine innings Thursday.

As we announced during the game tonight, The Rocket, @rogerclemens joins us again this year in the @SoxBooth for game one Thursday night @RedSox vs @astros in Houston. Make sure to @tunein on @WEEI & #RedSox Radio Network. #21 pic.twitter.com/Zgj59ez2vY

Clemens has history with both organizations, of course. The Red Sox Hall of Famer went 192-111 with a 3.06 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 2,590 strikeouts during his 13 years in Boston. Nearly 10 years later, he also dominated in Houston, going 38-18 with a 2.40 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 505 strikeouts in 84 starts for his hometown club.
