While Josh McDaniels and Joe Judge are reportedly interviewing with other teams for potential new jobs this week now that the Patriots’ season has come to an end, the same is not yet true for Bret Bielema.

In a short period of time Monday morning CBS Sports reported that the New England defensive line coach and former college head coach of Wisconsin and Arkansas would be interviewing for the Lions' defensive coordinator job before quickly correcting its own false report.

Lions source says team is not in fact going to speak to Brett Bielema.

Bielema has spent the last two seasons in New England, first as consultant to the head coach and then as the defensive line coach this season.

Former Patriots defensive coordinator and now Lions head coach Matt Patricia is reportedly looking to hire a defensive coordinator in Detroit, but apparently Bielema won’t be a candidate after all.
