There are only two people who can truly decide Tom Brady’s future with the Patriots.
Ultimately, Brady can decide to use his free agent freedom to go elsewhere. And Patriots owner Robert Kraft can decide to do whatever it takes to return TB12 to the only NFL uniform he’s ever worn.
Tuesday, TMZ caught up with Kraft in New York and asked the Patriots head honcho if New England was going to keep Brady in Foxborough.
Over the weekend, Brady told Westwood One radio that he was remaining “open-minded” about his future and the possibility of hitting free agency.
“I love playing football and want to continue to play and do a great job. I am looking to what is ahead. Whatever the future may bring, I will embrace it with open arms,” Brady told Westwood One.
According to Kraft, though, the “plan” is for Brady’s future to be in the same place his past 20 years in the NFL have been – New England.
Only time will tell if Kraft’s plan comes together in the coming weeks and months approaching NFL free agency on March 18.
