When the Patriots let left tackle Nate Solder sign with the Giants last winter, fans rightly wondered who'd protect Tom Brady's blind side. They had no idea Trent Brown would work out so well after being acquired from the 49ers.

Too bad he could be on his way out the door after just one season.

According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Brown is consdered a primary target of the retooling Raiders, who have already added wide receiver Antonio Brown from the Steelers and could even be in the market for his disgruntled former teammate, running back Le'Veon Bell.

To that mix, they hope to add Brown, the 6-foot-8 behemoth who reportedly would like to make his decision quickly, per Rapoport. The Patriots acquired him last April with a fifth-rounder for a third-rounder.
