-- A Massachusetts brewery is commemorating Rob Gronkowski’s NFL career and retirement with a special brew dedicated to him.

Night Shift Brewing in Everett has a year-round double India pale ale called The 87, named after the address of their taproom, but is dedicating this latest batch to the former Patriots tight end.

On the bottom of the cans, Night Shift is printing, “Cheers Gronk!”

Heroes get remembered, but legends never die. This next batch of The 87 is dedicated to the other "87" - Rob Gronkowski. Cheers to 9 amazing seasons for one incredible team.

“Heroes get remembered, but legends never die,” Night Shift wrote on Instagram.

Michelle Sullivan, a spokeswoman for the brewery, said naming the 9,840-can batch after Gronkowski just made sense: “As a Boston brewery who had The 87 already in their portfolio, using The 87 beer to thank Gronk seemed like a great idea.”

-- In a case of perfect timing, NBCSN made some viewers do a double take during Wednesday’s Rangers-Bruins game when David Pastrnak was sent to the penalty box at the same time the station aired an ad showing him going to the penalty box.

The ad on the split screen shows Pastrnak going to the Dunkin’ penalty box just as he was going to the penalty box for hooking in real life.

“Is anyone confused?” is right.
