Celtics fans won’t get a Nets-Celtics matchup on Christmas Day in 2019, but they will get to see Kyrie Irving make his return to the TD Garden a month before.

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Irving and the Nets are scheduled to play in Boston for the first time in the 2019-20 season on November 27. (Oddly enough, Anthony Davis also makes his return to New Orleans that day.)

Also, the Celtics will play on Christmas Day again this season. Though they won’t celebrate the holiday at home like they did last year.

The Celtics will visit the Toronto Raptors on December 25, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. The Boston-Toronto matchup is one of four games scheduled on Christmas Day. The Clippers and Lakers will play one another, as will the Rockets and Warriors, and the Pelicans and Nuggets.
