When news broke about a Utah Jazz player preliminarily testing positive for COVID-19, the Celtics were not in Boston. They were originally scheduled to play in Milwaukee on Thursday, but the NBA has suspended all games following the news.
According to Adam Himmelsbach of the Boston Globe, the Celtics were set to fly back to Boston a 11 a.m. on Thursday.
When they get back, the players have been told to self-isolate “for a few days,” according to Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated.
The Celtics last played the Jazz on March 6, five days after Utah had a player test positive for COVID-19.
