What to watch with no live sports: Celtics' first win over Bucks in 2018 playoffs

This whole “no live sports” thing is getting tiresome.
If you haven’t lost all hope and resorted to books with no pictures, I’ve got viewing options to get you through the self-quarantine. Use them however you see fit: as a guide, a jumping-off point or even a gauge of what you should socially distance yourself from. Whatever helps.

I watched more of this than I care to admit. Never heard of Herman’s Hermits until Matt Kalman sent this my way. Please direct all opinions to him.


Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is available on Amazon Prime. If you want something that will completely distract you from what’s going on in the real world for a while, watch this. Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio’s characters are very different from one another, but they both did well. Also, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is a Quentin Tarantino movie, so this isn’t exactly a kid-friendly flick.

If you want to rent something for everyone, either of the recent Jumanji movies will help the time pass by.


NBC Sports Boston is broadcasting the first game of the Celtics’ first-round matchup with the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2018 NBA Playoffs at 7 p.m. The only members of the current Celtics team featured in this game are Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and Semi Ojeleye.

Over on NESN, you have Game 4 of Red Sox-Rays in the 2013 ALDS at 6 p.m. Then there’s Game 2 of Bruins-Canadiens in the 2011 Eastern Conference Quarter Finals at 8 p.m.
