Tom Brady welcomes Eli Manning to Twitter with solid dig

By WEEI 93.7

It didn't take Tom Brady long to give Eli Manning a crash course on the pitfalls of social media.

Just after noon on Saturday the former Giants quarterback officially joined the ranks of those on Twitter, starting his new account.

Less than an hour later Brady welcomed Manning to the social media platform, but not without using the post to take a good-natured swipe at the recently-retired QB.

Welcome @EliManning, In typical fashion, you never showed up until the 4th quarter anyway --

Brady joined Twitter in March 2019 and currently sits with almost 1.2 million followers. It took Manning less than an hour to secure 30,000 followers.

For the record, Manning's career quarterback rating in the fourth quarter (83.8) didn't equal his second (86.6) and first (84.2) quarters.

(Update) Eli responded ...

Hope your golf game is as polished as your Twitter game. Don’t hit it in the lumberyard.
