How many Patriots did ESPN have on its AFC East all-decade team?

By WEEI 93.7

On Tuesday, as part of its NFL all-decade of the 2010s series, ESPN released its best players on the AFC East teams, as well as an all AFC East team.

Unsurprisingly, Tom Brady was the Patriots' player of the decade. As for the rest of the division, Kyle Williams got the nod for the Bills, Cameron Wake for the Dolphins and Darrelle Revis for the Jets.

Here's the AFC East team of the decade, which includes 13 Patriots.

QB: Tom Brady, Patriots, 2000-19RB: LeSean McCoy, Bills, 2015-18WR: Brandon Marshall, Dolphins, 2010-11; Jets, 2015-16WR: Julian Edelman, Patriots, 2009-presentWR: Jarvis Landry, Dolphins, 2014-17TE: Rob Gronkowski, Patriots, 2010-18OT: D'Brickashaw Ferguson, Jets, 2006-15G: Logan Mankins, Patriots, 2005-13C: Nick Mangold, Jets, 2006-16G: Richie Incognito, Bills, 2009, 2015-17; Dolphins, 2010-13OT: Nate Solder, Patriots, 2011-17

KR/PR: Jakeem Grant, Dolphins, 2016-presentK: Stephen Gostkowski, Patriots, 2006-19P: Brandon Fields, Dolphins, 2007-14

In terms of Patriots snubs, there really aren't any.

Ryan Allen probably could have been the punter, but other than that cases can be made for the players that got the nod. Some Patriots who missed out that likely got some consideration were James White, Wes Welker, Sebastian Vollmer, Trey Flowers, Rob Ninkovich, Jamie Collins, Jerod Mayo and Patrick Chung.
