FOXBOROUGH -- There was good news coming from Patriots practice Wednesday afternoon.

The team had perfect attendance, including Julian Edelman and Dont'a Hightower, both of whom left Sunday's game against the Jets. Edelman has a chest/rib injury, but X-rays reportedly were negative. Hightower was officially listed as questionable to return with a shoulder injury, but it occurred late in the fourth quarter.

Also present was quarterback Cody Kessler, who the team signed earlier on Wednesday. There was also a new tight end, who will be on the practice squad.

The Patriots will practice Thursday and Friday before taking on the Bills Sunday in Buffalo.
