On Monday morning, it was announced Richard Seymour will be the Patriots' 2020 inductee to the team Hall of Fame.

Seymour beat out Mike Vrabel and Bill Parcells in a nearly month-long fan vote.

The Patriots released the audio from Robert Kraft's phone call to the defensive end to let him know he had won the vote and officially is in the team Hall of Fame.

“It’s truly an honor. Wow,” Seymour said.

Kraft seems to hope this isn't the only Hall of Fame Seymour will get into, as he's been a finalist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame the last two seasons.

“I am looking forward to setting a date for your red jacket and that will be a good hint and a kick in the buns to a gold jacket, where you also belong," Kraft said.
