Rob Gronkowski: I've had probably 20 concussions in my life

Rob Gronkowski has made many media appearances this week as he continues to be the spokesman for CBDMedic.

Appearing on CBS News, Gronkowski was asked if he would allow his son to play football, and within his answer he disclosed he had around 20 concussions during his playing career.

“I would let my son play football, but first off I would educate him on the game," he said. "Educate him on what I went through. I truly believe any injury that you receive is fixable. I went through it. I had nine surgeries. Probably had like 20 concussions in my life, like no lie. I remember five, like blackout ones.”

Concerns regarding concussions were reportedly one of reasons he retired when he did. His family apparently pushed for him to retire following Super Bowl LII against the Eagles following suffering a concussion in the AFC title game against the Jaguars.

Gronkowski certainly was not on the injury report 20 times with a concussion, which makes this fairly notable that the NFL isn't doing the best job when it comes to disclosing concussions.

Rob Gronkowski tells @CBSNews he "probably had, like, 20 concussions" in his life and that "I remember five blackout ones." Yikes.
