The Bruins withstood a 20-shot first-period onslaught from the Hurricanes thanks to Tuukka Rask and went on to beat the Hurricanes 2-1 in Raleigh Tuesday night to take a 3-0 series lead.
Rask finished the night with 35 saves, while Chris Wagner and Brad Marchand did the scoring.
