Teams often embrace some sort of theme when it comes to their attire for special games, and the Bruins are no different.
Two years ago, Boston players wore "Peaky Blinders"-inspired three-piece suits for their arrival to the Winter Classic at Notre Dame Stadium.
On Sunday, they took things to another level with their arrival to their NHL Outdoors game at Lake Tahoe, throwing things back to the 1990s with everything ranging from the Mighty Ducks' Bash Brothers to Power Rangers to Starter jackets, vintage Bruins gear, fanny packs, and bright colors that would've fit on the set of "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" or "Saved by the Bell."
If it seems random, it's not. The Bruins are wearing their yellow reverse retro jerseys for Sunday night's game against the Flyers, which are based on the jerseys they wore in the early '90s.
