Tacko Fall became a fan favorite both in Boston with the Celtics and in Portland with the Maine Red Claws as a rookie last season.
Now we know he'll be back for another year. The Athletic's Shams Charania reports that the Celtics and Fall have agreed to a two-way deal.
Fall should get an opportunity to compete for more playing time in Boston this season, but the two-way deal means he can be moved back and forth between Boston and Portland again.
The 7-foot-5 Fall signed with the Celtics as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Central Florida. He appeared in seven games for the Celtics last year, averaging 3.3 points and 2.1 rebounds in those appearances. He averaged 12.9 points and 11.1 rebounds per game for the Red Claws.
