After signing with the Patriots earlier this week, defensive tackle Carl Davis has been ruled out ahead of what could have been his New England debut due to a concussion.

No other Patriot has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the 49ers, but five are questionable: defensive tackle Adam Butler (shoulder), defensive back Kyle Dugger (ankle), wide receiver Julian Edelman (knee), guard Shaq Mason (calf), and defensive end Derek Rivers (back). All five got in limited practices Friday.

Running back James White returned to practice Friday and is not listed on the final injury report. He missed practice Wednesday and Thursday for non-injury reasons.

The 49ers, meanwhile, have ruled out four players, including No. 1 running back Raheem Mostert.
