The strength of the Patriots roster, the offensive line, has taken a hit heading into the team's game against the Cardinals Sunday.
As was first reported by ESPN's Field Yates, the Patriots are placing left tackle Isaiah Wynn on the injured list, meaning he will be forced to miss at least the next three games. Wynn was forced to leave last Sunday's loss to Houston with a knee injury.
Possible replacements for Wynn at the key offensive line spot are veteran Jermaine Eluemenor -- who filled in for the starter after his injury against the Texans -- and rookie Justin Herron. A sixth-round pick by the Patriots in the 2020 NFL Draft, the former Wake Forest standout had been on the injured list due to an ankle injury suffered during New England Week 7 loss to San Francisco.
Also being placed on the injured list is running back Rex Burkhead (knee) and nose tackle Carl Davis (concussion).
