The Patriots have cancelled practice and media availability for Friday afternoon apparently because of another positive COVID-19 test.

According to ESPN's Mike Reiss and Field Yates, the afternoon activities were cancelled after a positive COVID-19 test. There is also a second test they are awaiting to confirm is a positive.

The Patriots just got Cam Newton, Stephon Gilmore and Bill Murray back at practice Thursday from the COVID list. Byron Cowart is still on the COVID list.

Their Week 5 game against Denver was rescheduled for Week 6 because of multiple COVID positives and the Gillette Stadium facility being shut down last week.

New England is currently scheduled to host the Broncos on Sunday, but now that is likely in question once again.
