Report: Patriots linebacker out for season with torn pec

Injuries are starting to become a problem for the Patriots.

According to Pro Football Talk, linebacker Brandon Copeland is telling teammates he has a torn pec and is out for the season.

Copeland played 11 defensive snaps and 11 special teams snaps against the 49ers. For the year, he's appeared in all six games and has 12 tackles.

The linebacker spot was pretty limited when it comes to depth as it was, so now the players left are Ja'Whaun Bentley, Anfernee Jennings, Josh Uche and Cassh Maluia.

Joe Thuney, N'Keal Harry, Lawrence Guy and Justin Herron also suffered injuries in the loss to the 49ers.
