Odell Beckham Jr. out after suffering left knee injury against Bengals in first quarter

CLEVELAND, Ohio (92.3 The Fan) – Disaster struck the Browns early in Cincinnati.

Baker Mayfield threw his seventh interception of the season and on that same play center JC Tretter and receiver Odell Beckham Jr. suffered injuries.

Beckham will not return the team said.

Tretter returned on the next offensive series but Beckham will did not after originally being listed as questionable to return.

Beckham was the intended target on Mayfield’s deep ball up the near sideline that was intercepted by Bengals cornerback Darius Phillips.

Beckham appeared to get upended at the end of the play while trying to chase down Phillips when he collided with Browns fullback Andy Janovich.

The extent of Beckham's injury is unknown as the receiver was taken to the locker room for examination.

Bengals rookie quarterback Joe Burrow turned Mayfield’s pick into six with a 1-yard quarterback sneak for a 7-0 lead.
