Patriots get 1 rookie tight end back at practice Wednesday

FOXBOROUGH -- The Patriots got one of their rookie tight ends on injured reserve back at practice Wednesday in Devin Asiasi.

Asiasi had been out since the Buffalo game with an unknown injury. He missed that game due to personal reasons and then was placed on IR.

There were also four players missing from practice in Rex Burkhead, Isaiah Wynn, Tashawn Bower and Carl Davis.

Burkhead and Wynn were expected as they were injured in Sunday's loss. Burkhead has yet to be placed on IR even though he announced on social media he will not play again this year.

The first injury report of the week is due out later in the day.

New England will host Arizona on Sunday.
