Patriots reportedly host 2 players for visits, have practice squad player suspended

The Patriots had a few minor transactions on Friday heading into the weekend matchup with the Cardinals.

According to ESPN's Mike Reiss, the team had safety JT Hassel and offensive lineman Ross Reynolds in for visits. Hassel was an undrafted rookie with the Browns last year, while Reynolds was waived off the 49ers' injured reserve earlier this year.

This is just the Patriots doing their due diligence.

Meanwhile, according to the NFL transaction wire, practice squad linebacker Michael Pinckney has been suspended. Reiss reports the suspension is for six games. He was an undrafted rookie this season.
