The Patriots have lost a player on waivers.
According to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle, the Texans claimed offensive lineman Hjalte Froholdt off waivers after he was waived by the Patriots over the weekend.
Froholdt, a native of Denmark, was the Patriots' fourth-round pick last season out of Arkansas.
He appeared in eight career games, but did not receive much playing time earlier in the year when the Patriots had all kinds of injury issues along the offensive line.
It's unclear if the Patriots had any plans to bring Froholdt back on the practice squad.
