Joe Judge's style and approach have earned him praise so far in his Giants tenure, but apparently he's not letting it go to his head.
Big Blue's new-ish head coach opened up about a variety of topics in a wide-ranging interview with Moose & Maggie on WFAN on Tuesday, including the recent NFL Draft and what he learned working under Nick Saban and Bill Belichick.
Judge also addressed his reportedly stellar interview process with the Giants, which had owner John Mara gushing that it was the best he'd ever seen from a candidate.
"Coach, Maggie and I had your co-owner John Mara on, right after they hired you," said co-host Mark Malusis. "And they gave you a great accoldade ... He said you were the most impressive coaching interview he'd ever been a part of."
Judge responded with what already appears to be his signature frankness and modesty.
"It's going to be more important what I do this fall and what we do collectively. So, I'm thankful for the opportunity. Now I have a greater responsibility than just getting on the phone and talking through an interview."
Elsewhere, Judge was asked who would play left and right tackle between presumed starters Nate Solder and Andrew Thomas, and hinted at his vision for the Giants defense while discussing how second-round draft pick Alabama safety Xavier McKinney will fit in.
