Nick Mangold Mocks Jamal Adams' 'Seahawk for Life' Statement

They say a picture says 1000 words, and for Jets legend Nick Mangold, one GIF gives four digits’ worth of his mindset on the whole Jamal Adams saga.

Of course, Adams had unsavory words about his now-former head coach and GM just before his exit from New York, and he has doubled down on the “glad to be anywhere but here” mantra since landing in Seattle, saying in his first media availability that his “plan is to retire (in Seattle).”

Mangold’s take? Well, in response to the New York Post’s Tweet about Adams’ comments, Mangold replied with a GIF from The Office, specifically one of character Kevin laughing.

Perhaps Mangold was amused because Adams also once said he hoped to be a Jet for life, or giggled when Adams said that despite also backing off on his long-term deal demands and agreeing to play in Seattle on the rookie deal that has two years remaining?

Adams also said that “I’m here to stay, and I’m excited to be a Seattle Seahawk,” so, uh, yeah.

If anyone knows about the “Jet for life” ideal it is Mangold, who played all 11 of his NFL seasons with Gang Green, making seven Pro Bowls along the way.
