WFAN Programming Changes: Nets, Yankees To Split WFAN Airwaves on Friday

By WFAN Sports Radio 101.9 FM/66AM New York

If you’re going for as much sports as you can on WFAN Friday, you may have to listen to both 101.9 FM and 66 AM wherever you get your broadcasts.

The Nets play the Kings on Friday night at 5 p.m., so we will begin basketball coverage on both 101.9 and 660 with the Nets Pregame at 4:50. At 6 p.m., Nets-Kings will move exclusively to 101.9 FM, and 660 AM will kick off our Yankees-Rays coverage with Yankees Pregame.

Once the Nets game ends, the Yankees game will simulcast on both 101.9 and 660.

So once again, that’s Nets on WFAN-FM and WFAN-AM from 4:50-6 p.m., Nets on WFAN-FM and Yankees on WFAN-AM from 6 p.m. until the end of the Nets game, and the Yankees on both channels once the Nets game concludes.

All in a day’s work on WFAN!
