A day after enduring a deluge of injuries at MetLife in the 31-13 win over the Jets, the 49ers found themselves waiting on health updates because the truck carrying the MRI machine broke down.

Oh, and there's this too:

Nothing seems to be going right for the Niners, although they did win their Week 2 matchup against the Jets to improve to 1-1 despite the plethora of injuries.

Sunday featured widespread injuries across the league, with other star players such as Saquon Barkley and Christian McCaffrey leaving games with injuries, with the former out for the season with a torn ACL, joining Nick Bosa in that category.

However, Shanahan expressed optimism that Jimmy Garoppolo, who left Sunday's game with a high ankle sprain, could potentially play next weekend against the Giants at MetLife Stadium -- where the league is looking into the team's turf concerns -- so there is some good news for the team amidst all of this.

Stay tuned for all the latest, as the 49ers make camp in Greenbrier, West Virginia.
